Popular Health Trend - Yoga

When you feel tired or under too much stress, you can try yoga to relax yourself. Yoga has become one of the most popular health trends around.

Yoga has become so popular in recent years, and it's easy to overlook the fact that it is actually one of humankind's oldest activities. It is believed that yoga is originated from shamans in Indus Valley over 5000years ago.

Shamans were regarded as the holy men of early human civilization. It is said that they can communicate with the spirit world to find solutions to problems facing their people. Over time, these shamans developed a system of mental and physical exercises to expand their consciousness, and thereby give a new perspective on the problems of daily life. These exercises formed the foundation of modern yoga.

For thousands of years yoga was practiced mainly in India. The exercises of yoga were incorporated into three of the Indian religions: Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism. Technically, yoga is not a religion; it is a method that can be used by anyone to pursue their own religious (or non-religious) goals.

Siddhartha, the founder of Buddhism, practiced yogic meditation, and meditation is still a central part of Buddhism today.

Yoga was practically unknown to the West until the 1960s, when popular culture began to show an interest in Eastern religions. People began to look at yoga as a way to find peace of mind in a world that was anything but peaceful.

Since the 1960s yoga's popularity has grown steadily. Nowadays, Westerners practice all kinds of yoga. There are even yoga classes for people in their 70s!

In fact, there are so many people who want to learn yoga that yoga schools across the United States are having difficulty keeping up with the demand. Judging by its popularity, yoga is as useful for solving the problems of today as it was for solving the problems 5,000 years ago.

Puzzling Computer Puzzle Games For Families

Puzzle games are another good choice for the growing mind. Every puzzle games has its unique way of teaching strategy, planning and just plain fun! After playing these games awhile the child will get much better.

Block Party is a game where the child must remove colored blocks under the rock band members so that they will fall to the stage to begin playing. If the blocks are not removed fast enough, then the rockers will reach the lights at the top of the stage and the show will be over pick. The child must choose the best stars and make sure no heavy metal rockers end up in their pop band, because they won't be playing the right music!

There are several ways of removing blocks. The easiest way is to form a vertical or horizontal row of three or more blocks of one color. New blocks will come up from below and they move faster for each level. The child must fill all the slots to the left with pop stars to play the game at the next level! There are special blocks to aid the child. The blast blocks can be used in any combination of three or more blocks of the same color, and removes a column or a row, depending if it is included in a vertical or horizontal combination. The higher the child gets in levels the more difficult the game gets. Blocks come flying up and it is very challenging. Star blocks double the score for any combination they are part of, and if you combine a star block and a blast block in one combo, all blocks of that color will be removed. This game is for 7 years and up!

Chuzzles is a very popular puzzle game. In this game the Chuzzles are the child's best friends. They don't like to comingle with other colors, so the child must maneuver the Chuzzles around so that they are grouped by color. The larger the one color group becomes, the better the score. Match the Chuzzles by color and watch out for the Chuzzle Locks! Super Chuzzles and Giant Chuzzles add diversity to the skill version of this popular game! They don't like being alone, so your mission is to group them together by color! Move lines of Chuzzles to create groups of 3 or more that are the same color. Note that the group can have any shape, as long as 3 or more Chuzzles touch, they do not need to be in lines.

Make a Super Chuzzles (they glow), and your child can create them when they make a match of at least 5 Chuzzles. When Super Chuzzles are used in a match, they explode. Creating a Super Chuzzle will give your child bonus points.

Create a giant Chuzzle by making a square of four Chuzzles of one color (in later levels). Giant Chuzzles give a small score boost, but they also can be in the way, since the child can only move both the lines it occupies. Giant Chuzzles cannot leave the screen like regular Chuzzles can. No explosions here! Watch out for Chuzzle Locks as they will hinder one or more Chuzzles' movement in the later levels. A locked Chuzzle cannot be moved. The only way to get rid of a locked Chuzzle is to use it in a match.

To play this game one must click and drag a line of Chuzzles with the mouse to move them. If the move creates a group of 3 or more Chuzzles of the same color, they will disappear. If it doesn't, your move will be reversed.

Another puzzle game is "Who is the King of the Jungle". The object is to clear all the bubbles hanging from the roof. This is accomplished by shooting up bubbles of the same color. Master the bounce shots and your steady aim and your child will rule this game.

Puzzle games are great opportunities to enjoy some quality time with your child as well as sharpen your own skills. Enjoy one today.

Alvin Phang's Atomic Blogging Makes It Possible With Only A Click - Get More Website Traffic Fast!

Atomic Blogging has been right in front of my face for a while. If I'd looked a little closer at it before I would have realized it was more than I originally thought. It definitely is a sure fire way to get more web site traffic fast.

The last little while I've been outlining a few different ways in which I've been trying to improve business through different payment systems, or traffic methods etc. I'm sure if you have visited my blog in the past you will have noticed by now that the whole style and look has changed. I'm not quite sure I like the new template as much as the last one. I did a lot of customization on the last one, but, this one has more functionality compared to the last one in many ways. I actually updated the whole Wordpress platform as well, to the most current version.

A couple of days ago, I received another email on Atomic Blogging. I downloaded a report on it a while back, but I never really looked that closely at it. I figured at the time, "Yeah, whatever, yet another blogging product for newbies." If I'd looked a little closer I would have realized that Alvin Phang's product is much more than that. I now know, and have implemented an awesome plug-in that came with the package. This plug-in alone and the time it will save you when blogging and using social bookmarking sites is worth the cost alone in my opinion. If I'd looked closer before, it would have hit me how time saving this thing really is. Time, of course, is always a big issue in a marketers life, and, I'm pretty much a one-man show, so finding new ways to save time, is always welcome to me.

The Atomic Blogging plug-in allows you to post to all of the most popular book marking sites instantly, as soon as you make a blog post and hit "Publish". The plug in uses Only-Wire in it's use as well. Only Wire is a site in which you sign-up to many social book marking sites so you can submit to a bunch of the sites easier as well. I've known about Only Wire for a while, as I learned of it through Ross Goldberg's Traffic Manifesto package. It does take a while to go to all of the different sites and sign up to get all of your usernames and passwords, but once set up, it's absolutely worth it and a major time saver. So now with the Atomic Blogging plug-in, it's one click and "BOOM", you've just posted to all of the sites at the same time.

Of course, we know what that means, much more traffic.

As I was going through Atomic Blogging, near the end, Alvin was mentioning an amazing site that helps with blogging called Blog Catalog. This site has a PR of 7, which is very, very high. It's really is a good site for bloggers with a lot of interaction with other members etc. When I visited the site, I was racking my brain trying to figure out where I had seen this before and the widget from their site before. I now have it on my page to. Later I realized that I'd seen the widget on Holly's blog, and it got me wondering if she herself had maybe had a chance to go through Atomic Blogging herself. I really don't know, I haven't asked her about it yet, but, as usual, leave it to Holly Mann to be one step ahead of us every time.

So perhaps that will be another great time saving tip for you, and also give you another great traffic strategy that works.
